Simple warm-up

Simple questions with short answers are a good way to give all participants a chance to get active right away.

In the round of getting to know each other by name and function, it is helpful to add a small personal comment.

Each person answers questions and passes another one on to the next person.

No materials needed.

Here are some more questions:

  • How many kilometres did you travel?
  • What did you have for breakfast/lunch today?
  • Who was the last person you talked to before the meeting?
  • Are you a dog person or a cat person?
  • What is your favourite film?
  • What is your favourite book?

If the company manufactures products, you can also ask for everybody’s favourite product from the portfolio at the beginning. Depending on the branch (i.e. grocery shops, insurance companies, banks or love toys manufacturers) this often provides the first laughs and loosens up the atmosphere.
