The triumph of the Post-it-Notes would almost never have happened. Only a failed experiment ‒ or should we say an almost failed one ‒, the church and a lot of convincing effort helped to birth a major success story. At first, it did not stick as a strong adhesive for constructing planes ‒ well, fortunately. A few years later its use was reinvented in church ‒ as a bookmark in the hymn book. And then it took another few years and a lot of convincing effort to launch the Post-it-Notes. This is a wonderful example that perseverance pays off…
